    Few questions. About subbing, package codes.

    I'm on Nintendo switch.

    Questions: I'm going to make the jump and buy the version 1-5 bundle. Does it come with any prepaid sub time?

    Also are the codes actually global across ANY system? I was reading the package codes can work on any system. Been to a few sites and they stated it plugs in to any system but idk how true that is.

    Alot of sites offer the game in 1-3 versions and 1-5 versions so not worried WHERE to find it or even buy it. Amazon even offers it. Think I can also buy it off the eshop with my jp account. I know in game it has an option to buy it as well.

    Fluff info, not important: Been playing on the switch in the United States and it runs beautifully and I've not experienced any rubber banding seeing other players and playing myself, seems like extremely solid ping like my games here locally. I'm still on the trial after over 15 hours, game is pretty huge, think the trial runs into version 2.0? . Think it has a ffxiv setup where it offers an unlimited trial and an expansion. No VPN needed (if in United States), game looks pretty lively and it's easy to operate and figure out. The parts you can't figure out, just run your phone camera over it with the Google translate and it changes all the words toEnglish in real time, mostly. Game feels really lively and I'm enjoying the game itself and seen they just recently released another big update to it like 2-3 months ago ( so seems very much active and still being constantly updated) so I think I'm going to take the leap on this one.

    As a Dragon Quest beginner, I compiled this list to know what is playable for me. Currently, I am at part 3 near the end.

    Ignoring the NDS and Mobile versions. German means it reached EU.

    I just went scouring the internets as you do when you want to know stuff for what XI-S brought to the table to see if it was worth getting, needles to say its hilariously stacked with new and extra stuff and QOL changes, ill post a list i found after a few hours here so that people looking to see if its worth buying can decide for themself.

    But honestly, i say throw your god damn money at it and then some.

    ​

    • 2D Mode: You can play the whole game in 3D or 2D mode
    • Photo Mode
    • New Soundtrack and Voice Overs
    • Many QOL changes such as Fun-sized forge can be used everywhere, or items you knock or mind are automatically collected instea of falling the ground
    • Battle Speed Selector
    • New Area Tickington: Allows you to Teleport to Area's from the previous 10+ DQ Games
    • Party members are now viewable in the overworld
    • Cutscenes are immediately skippable
    • The addition of cosmetic only outfits
    • The Horse Hailer item allows you summon your horse when away from bell posts
    • Quick Commands menu has been added to easily access commonly used features
    • Harvested materials are placed into inventory instead of dropping on the ground
    • Defeating monsters using a mount grants experience
    • The ability to switch camera styles during battle (Classic or Free Movement)
    • Party member dialog appears in speech bubbles during combat
    • Interact with party members via the '-' button
    • Party member quests have been added
    • New costumes
    • No first-person camera
    • New marriage options
    • More rideable monsters
    • Draconian Quest options have been expanded (Draconian Quests are abit like Nuzlock rules for DQ)

    I think there is a few more but these ones i found mattered the most or where most noteable

    I hope this helps out alot of you gamers out there and DQ fans and those interested in maybe trying this one out.

    DQXIS Demo runs at a smooth 60 fps in the new PS5 and Xbox Series X, probably the best way to play DQXI when it releases in December 4.

    Dragon Quest Heroes 1+2 had really crappy rosters

    I love the idea and some of the execution, but what the hell were they thinking with the rosters?

    FIVE Dragon Quest IV characters appear, compared to 1, 2, and 3 who got none, V that got two, VI that got two (who didn't know each other in the actual VI at all), VII which initially got zero, and VIII where the removed the best character Yangus, to uh, make room for more Dragon Quest IV characters I guess.

    Seriously. FIVE Dragon Quest IV characters, one of which was Meena, who is essentially just a boring version of Maya and a poor man's Milly.

    What the hell were they thinking? Is DQIV really that popular? I think it's the weakest game in the series. I didn't even think any of the 'chosen' were all that interesting.
