| *SPOILERS* Comment about DQ XI end, and question about Act 3 Posted: 21 Mar 2021 05:11 PM PDT Hi all, I just finished what I think is the end of Act 2. I defeated Mordegon (and his tail), and saw the credits roll. Now I'm an old, jaded man, but the cutscene next to the credits almost brought a tear to my eye. Good lord, what a fun adventure. What a fun story. What fun gameplay to reveal it all. I'm truly impressed, and if there's a DQ 12 in our future, it's now a day-one purchase. Now I just continued the save and I'm at a party in Arboria; I presume I'm starting Act 3. My question: is the game's overarching story continuing on, or am I just now free to tie up all the loose ends and side quests I didn't complete earlier? Honestly, the game ended so beautifully, I'm skeptic about carrying on in Erdrea. If veterans could gently let me know what Act 3 has in store without spoiling the story (if there is any), I'd appreciate it. TIA. [link] [comments] | ||
