    Wow... that was my first ever Dragon Quest game and I'm speechless. This is one of the best games I ever played. I feel so sad that I finished the game right now... ;(

    It feels like the DS versions of IV/V/VI are too expensive, are the iOS ports any good? I heard some of the iOS ports were actually superior to the DS versions. As for VII and VIII, I suppose the 3DS versions would be alright? And if I really wanted XI, I'd really need to go for the enhanced Switch version, right?

    Diamond Slime In DQMJ2 Pro. Is It Good?

    I'm Making a Diamond Slime ( about half way there ) for my only metal slime team containing a Gem Slime and a Liquid King Slime, but I cant find much info on Diamond slimes or on the pro game in general, so i'm just wandering if I should still go through the hard synthesizing procedure.

    (darkonium slime x darkonium slime x gem slime x gem slime) = diamond slime

    or just make a 'best' metal king slime instead.

    If a Diamond Slime is worth making what skills should I put on it, maybe I should make it an uber mage user?

    DQ3 for Nintendo Switch: Pyramid perma-curse? Has anyone encountered this?

    Hi -- so I'm playing DQ3 for the first time ever (I know, I wish I could have played a better version before now). I'm in the postgame, and I'm working on collecting every Mini Medal.

    I took the Golden Claws from the Pyramid early on, and made my way out and sold them without ever equipping them. Now I'm back, with the goal of making it to the top of the pyramid to find a stray Mini Medal, and...I'm running into an enemy encounter every step or two.

    I have no other cursed items in my inventory. Any idea what's going on? Is this a known phenomenon (in this or any other version of the game)? And is there anything I can do about it?

    I've never played a dragon quest game before and I'm looking at buying 11 for switch. Would it be hard to understand what's happening or would it be strange to jump in at this point of the series

    Wondering about DQXI PS4 pre-order DLC.

    I know this is way too late to talk about this topic, but is there any way to still get the GameStop and Amazon pre-order DLC? Obviously, I don't mean actually buying from those retailers, but if there any traders/people who sell them still.

    Don't need them right now, but not knowing of a single way to get them just keeps bugging me. Thanks in advance!

    I've played the game and it still feels like a Dragon Quest 4 rip off, the plot, town stories and characters are 1:1 to DQ4.So should DQXI be rebranded as DQ4 Remake?

    Ending DQ11 before the postgame

    Did anybody else end the game without completing the "postgame" because of plot spoilers? I happened to see that one of the parts of the postgame was bringing back <fallen comrades> and I didn't want it to go there. I felt like the story was pretty good where it ended. Maybe I'd like to see celebration for the hero but... Am I crazy? Anybody else feel like this or for any other reason decide to skip the postgame? Its been a week and I am itching for more but I just liked how it ended. Maybe my question is "am I dumb to skip the rest?"

    Should I get DQ7 3DS?

    I'm still pretty new to the Dragon Quest series (i only own dqviii and am currently playing through it) but I already love it. I've heard some bad things about DQVII, specifically about how a lot of stuff is really complicated (ie class system) and how it doesnt tell you what to do or where to go. So should I get it?

    Any Persona fans?

    I was playing Persona 5, and it made think of Dragon Quest! It's an excellent turn based rpg, with great characters, just as in Dragon Quest. Those who love Dragon Quest tend to love the turn based rpg genre, and the Persona series is a staple of it, so I figured I'd ask.

    What are your thoughts on the series? (SMT too)

    I adore both, but I may be a bit biased towards DQ!

    Anywhere to view the DQXI loading screen tips?

    I'm new to the series. Loading tips look informative but I can never finish reading one. I'm on SSD (playing on PC) and the loading screens transition in a second or two at most.

    Normally I consider that a good thing, but not so much in this case. Is there anywhere in-game or online to review the loading screen tips?

    I've been nosing around the internet and cannot find a way to play it in English. I would really like to play it in a language I can understand it does not even need to be localized, just translated.
